Lyrics
Verse 1:
Now is the time for rejoicing, now is the time to praise God
Now is the time for declaring out loud: our God is good!
Now is the time for our dancing, now is the time to sing praise
Now is the time to get lost in You, in Christ who saves

Bridge:
Singing Your infinite praise
With the joy of the Lord as my strength

Chorus:
I'll say Your name everywhere I go
Take all my heart, all my mind, all my soul!
I will proclaim all that I know
Christ gave me life, so here's my light - watch me glow!

Verse 2:
Today is the day for salvation; tomorrow is too far away
Prepare ye the way for my soul has been saved. Our God is good
Drink of the fountain of mercy, come to the river of grace
My heart will cry out that I'm perfect now in Christ who saves

(Bridge)
(Chorus)
(La la...)

Verse 3:
I stand by the light of Your glory - Your radiance strengthens my soul
Let all that I am reflect all of you!

(Bridge 2x)
(Chorus)

Description
Verse 1:
There is only one time that we have to give God glory - that time is now. Rejoicing, praising, declaring, dancing, singing, and getting lost are all actions that we can do now as expressions of our love to give God the glory.

Verse 2:
Today is the day that we can turn to Christ. We have admittance into heaven because of God's abundant grace and mercy, and we can actually say that we are perfect in Christ who has saved us from ourselves.

Verse 3:
Basking in the presence of God is one of the greatest things in the world. Just to sit and be still and feel the warmth of His arms. Isn't it crazy how the light is so much brighter when our eyes are closed? God gives us all his radiance so that we can reflect this glory to the world that they might see his radiance as well.

Bridge:
The joy that Christ has given me in saving my poor soul has given me so much strength in proclaiming all that He has done - and this is how we can sing the chorus with confidence.

Chorus:
There's nothing holding me back anymore - wherever I go and whatever I do I will spread the news of our God who is good and our Father who saves. With all that I am I want to praise God and not even think twice. Christ gave me life - that's pretty praiseworthy if you ask me. As foolish a word as "glow" might sound, it's the perfect word for the closing of this chorus because it represents the incredible light emitted from all parts of our body - not just shining a single beam but glowing everywhere.

Overall:
I had the privilege of sharing my musical gifts with an incredible band at an incredible training camp for Touch the World ministries sending out hundreds of kids around the world on various mission trips. God used this week to teach me quite a bit about what it really means to give all of yourself in worship without holding anything back. Who care if I can't hit that high D? Who cares if I hit a couple of wrong keys on the piano? God doesn't - He just cares that I'm giving him everything that I've got, and that's just what I'm going to do. Let this song be an expression of just that.

Psalm 149:3
"Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp."

Habakkuk 3:17-18
"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior."

Matthew 22:37
"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'"

Matthew 5:16
"In the same way, let your light shine before all men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Luke 3:4b
"Prepare the way for the Lord"
