Lyrics
Verse 1:
I'm reaching out to You with both my hands
And if I fall, please understand
That I'm working with a heart that does what it can for You
With all that You are, You take me as I am
You don't just see me as another broken man
But a child made clean by the blood of the Lamb for You

Verse 2:
To say that everyday I find a different way
To break Your heart and run away
Wouldn't even cover that I haven't been a brother to You
But here I am and there You are
My spirit has been healed by my Redeemer's scars
I may fall away but I can't go far from You

Refrain:
My spirit sings, "I'm redeemed!"

Chorus:
There is no more condemnation; Christ has set us free (I'm livin' forgiven (2x))
Now I am a new creation, I have been redeemed! I have been redeemed!

Verse 3:
Let all of Your ways guide all my days
That all of my days would overflow with praise
But only by Your power can I climb up this tower again
I know I couldn't sing of this rescuing
Without Your everything being an offering
By man, I'm born once but by the Spirit I am born again!

(Refrain (2x))
(Chorus (2x))
(Verse 1)

Description
Verse 1:
There's a definite lack of ability on our end when we try to approach the throne of God. Because of this, it's imperative that when we go to God, we go with everything we've got - both hands, our broken soul, and all of the juice we can squeeze out of our broken hearts. Going to Got with these efforts is like how a child would address his parents when they realize their dependence - we realize that we don't have everything, and we know who does.

Verse 2:
It would be an understatement to say that I break God's heart in new ways everyday. I act like a timid high school bully - I'll do the damage but run when I realize what I've done and who I've damaged. Regardless, I can't run from God - He tracks me down, offers me His redemption, and heals my spirit.

Verse 3:
All that I want is to serve God with everything. It's something that I am incapable of, but nothing that I can't strive to do better. It's only by God's power that I can even move slightly closer to that ultimate goal of living for Him. I wouldn't even have the opportunity to grow in this way had it not been for the bridge built by Christ's body.

Refrain:
It's my spirit that can be in communication with God's Spirit, and it's pretty excited about being purified by the blood of the Lamb!

Chorus:
Those who are in Christ are no longer condemned - we are set free from the once-guaranteed future of eternal separation from God. Now, I am living a forgiven man.

Overall:
There is nothing more precious, more undeserved, more beautiful, more incomprehensible, more selflessly-offered than our redemption through Christ. This is what I call a gift! God gave His everything - one-third of the Trinity = one-whole of Himself - so that we could one day see Him face-to-face. This is what I call love! Our once-filthy souls have been offered a second chance, a second birth in which we can finally live for our Maker and all the ways that He has set out for us in perfect unity with His Will. This is what I call redemption!

Romans 8:1
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ, Jesus."

2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

Isaiah 1:18
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
