Description
Verse 1:
I pray to God over and over again to let me let Him take control of my life so that I can be blessed with all He has to offer. His beauty, might, vision, and light are what I strive for.

Verse 2:
I prayed to God over and over again, and He let me let Him take control of my life. His beauty, might, vision, and light are now what I have been given.

Bridge:
The bridge repeats "Praise God" eight times to serve as a simple reminder of life's purpose.

Chorus:
In prayer for God to open up all my conceitedness, I praise God for giving me the honor to love and worship His majesty, and to pray in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Overall:
This was one of the three songs I wrote very shortly after God so gracefully saved me from my sins and made me a new creation in His kingdom. It is a reminder that if you seek, you will find. Matthew 7:7 says it best, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find..." I asked God to soften my heart and open my eyes, and He did it in a heartbeat. Praise God.

Matthew 7:7-11:
"Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
