Verse 1:
I've been playing you for so long
I'm still playing you today!
There's never been a time when you were wrong
And I always want to play

Refrain:
You always know what to say to me
You always know what's on my mind
You don't know what you mean to me
Eighty-eight, soundin' great!

Chorus:
You're my piano, and you sing to me
Praise and Glory to our Lord
You're my piano, and you cling to me
Amazing gift, what a lift!
My piano!

Verse 2:
Your body's shining black and white
You fingers touch the tips of mine
When I'm with you, it's all all right
Because you keep my soul in line

(Refrain)
(Chorus)

Verse 3:
God has joined our sounds together
And I will always lift my voice
We will celebrate Your love forever
And we will make a joyful noise!

(Chorus (Replace "Amazing Gift, what a lift!" with "That is what my gift is for!"))
(Chorus)

Description
Verse 1:
I've always had a gift, and this wonderful gift has blessed my life long before I even understood it as such. I've always played, and I am just now realizing how much of a gift it really is, all glory to God.

Verse 2:
I'd have to say that the piano is the most beautiful instrument there is! Not only does it have a beautiful sound, but it also looks awesome! Every time I play, everything is truly all right.

Verse 3:
God gave me the gift of the piano to bless my life more than anything! He joined us together so that we can preach together for all to hear. Thank God for this wonderful gift!

Refrain:
Every single key that my fingers get the opportunity to touch makes me bubbly inside. What a great sound they make...and I have absolutely nothing to do with it!

Chorus:
This gift truly does sing to me, and I have just started to listen to it. Only now do I sit back as I play, and listen to the glorious gift that God has given to me. It's an amazing gift, and what I lift I get from it. My piano!

Overall:
This is a love song...for my piano! Even though I didn't even write the song on a piano that I owned (it was on a practice piano at college), it still means so much to me! Truly, I do not deserve this gift. I have sinned like crazy against God, but He still blesses me with so much, there's no doubt that His love is real.

Psalm 68:4
Sing to God, sing praises to his name.

Romans 12:5-8
Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; he who teaches, in his teaching; he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who contributes, in liberality; he who gives aid, with zeal; he who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Erma Bombeck
"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me."
