Lyrics
Verse 1:
A long, long time ago
A man was born.
A baby to the people(But He was) more than they would know
He walked around the streets
A young boy.
People saw him all the same
(But He was) more than they would know

Refrain:
He was just another drop of water
In the ocean of all their lives
They did not know he was to grow to such a man
They did not know, they did not know

Chorus:
The Maker of all things in the world
The Ruler of all the skies
The Healer of every aching heart
But for me, this Man must die. This man must die.

Verse 2:
He grew up a carpenter
(Just like his) old man, Joe
Building for the people
(But He was) more than they would know
And then one day He ran away for 40 days
All alone.
In the sand was Satan's plan to get this Man
(But He was) more than he would know

(Refrain)
(Chorus)
(Refrain)
(Chorus (Change last line to "And for me He gave His life!"))
(Chorus)

Description
Verse 1:
Jesus is born, and many only saw him as just another baby.
As He grows up, many people are still ignorant to His Majesty.

Verse 2:
He was most likely a carpenter, like His father, and people saw Him as just that. After His baptism in the Jordan, Jesus went into the wilderness where the Devil thought he could get Jesus to obey him, but Jesus was truly more than the devil could possibly know.

Refrain:
Jesus was simply another face in the crowd, they just didn't know...

Chorus:
...that He was and is indeed the maker, ruler, and healer of everything.

Overall:
This tells the story of the life of Jesus Christ, our Lord, as he grew up in an Earth full of sin, hatred, and many other impurities. He was not looked upon as the Messiah by many, but as a mere carpenter from Nazareth, no honor to His name. In fact, the disbelief and hatred were the very things that put Him on the cross. Because we are all sinners and fall short of the Glory of God, we are all responsible for the death of Jesus; however, because Jesus loved us so much, we can still live with the Christ forever.

John 1:11:
"He came to his own home, and his own people received him not."
