Overall:
Invincible Fortitude is a piano composition that depicts the struggles between the generations, particularly between the child and the parent. The bass (left) hand carefully represents the parent's louder and more demanding voice, while the melodic (right) hand symbolized the child's soft and often faded voice. In the end, the parent wins (of course) because wisdom always prevails over folly.
