Lyrics
Verse 1:
We just met the other day
I would have done it more if I knew how to pray.
I can see Your mighty face.
Now that You've opened my heart with Your grace.

Chorus:
I can see Your light.
I can see Your light.
You have opened my window.
And I can see Your light.

Verse 2:
My heart is filled with pride.
For my Lord who can now be found inside.
I can praise in Your name.
I can thank God for the day that You came.

(Chorus)

Verse 3:
I have learned Your life.
I will study Your Word, and sacrifice.
No one's above You.
Jesus, I love You.

(Chorus)

Description
Verse 1:
I was just found by Jesus and realized how wonderful this Christ really is. I wish I could have known him longer, instead of lingering in the dirty world of sin!

Verse 2:
Praise be to God for making Christ's spirit rule my body.

Verse 3:
I am gradually learning more about Jesus and God through the Bible, making my faith stronger and stronger. I am so grateful that Jesus came into my life!

Chorus:
I can see the Light of Jesus Christ, now that I have let Him come in.

Overall:
This was one of the three songs I wrote very shortly after God so gracefully saved me from my sins and made me a new creation in His kingdom. Jesus had just saved me (() a few weeks prior to writing this song, and it is all about how Jesus finally woke me up to His wonderful Grace. Jesus is Lord of all, and thank God He now reigns in my life.

John 8:12:
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life"

Psalm 119:105:
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path"

Psalm 119:130:
"The unfolding of your words gives light."

2 Thessalonians 5:5
"You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness"
