Lyrics
Verse 1:
I went outside to see what was going on
I cannot hide, it's all coming way too strong
I realized my game of hide and seek is done
Rub my eyes to find the seeker is the One

Chorus:
Who found all the others, and opened up their eyes
Now they're all brothers, who share the same prize
You can run. You can hide. You can pretend there's warmth inside
Thank God the Seeker found me, smiled and said, "You're mine!"

Verse 2:
Oh happy day! Even though I lost the game
I won a way to live my life in Jesus' Name
Now I pray my life will never be the same
Hip hip hooray in victory 'cause guess who came, the One

(Chorus)

Verse 3:
You may be in a game of hide and seek
I hope you see, being found is great! Alli Alli
Oxen Free! Welcome to the life you need
Walk with me, and all the glory goes to He

(Chorus)

Description
Verse 1:
I was in my usual "hiding place", you know, the one I've been hiding in for 16 years...well, God found me. I really thought that my hiding place was the greatest spot ever, but as soon as I peeked out, God caught me.

Verse 2:
It's never fun to lose a game, but in this case "to win your game you must lose it!" Though I lost the game, I found new life in Jesus Christ. Praise God that He found me and rescued me from what I was!

Verse 3:
This song is not just about me, but it is about anyone who may have his or her perfect "hiding place" and think that his or her life is perfect as is. As I look at where I was and where I am now, all the glory goes to God for finding me, and He can do the very same thing if you were just to peek outside of your apparently perfect hiding place.

Chorus:
The same God that has rescued uncountable souls in the past and the present has just saved me! Now I have another beautiful spiritual family of brothers and sisters that share in the joy that we were all found and claimed by the same Seeker.

Overall:
I once was lost but now am found. There aren't enough words to express the thanks I have for God finding me and saving me from what I once was. It's pretty cool to relate life to a game of Hide and Seek, especially with God as the seeker. I know that I will never look at the game the same way again, nor will I ever "win" it, because I know now how wonderful it really has been and still is to be found!

Matthew 10:39:
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.

Mark 2:17
"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners."

Luke 15:6
"Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost."

Isaiah 43:1
"I have called you by name; you are mine"
