Verse (1, 2, and 3):
Because of God's love and compassion, I am worthy of His blessings and faithful to His calling. I am God's very own child, even though I don't deserve any of it. I am holy in how I live my life, and thankful for all that God has given me. I am God's servant, and none of this could be achieved without God's power working in my life.
Chorus (1, 2, and 3):
Christ died for the very sake of making those who believe in His Name worthy and faithful children, and holy and thankful servants. It is impossible for us to achieve these things on our own, but with God's help we can do all things.
Overall:
God is good to us all. I was singing a song a couple nights before which proclaimed God as worthy of our praise, which is good, but I got to thinking: What makes us worthy of Him? Absolutely nothing that we do can ever give us worth, but everything that God does in us makes us worthy of being children of God. Even when the disciples asked Jesus, "Who then can be saved?" (Mark 10:26), Jesus replied with the Truth, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." (Mark 10:27)
Romans 3:22-23
"This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Mark 10:26-27
"The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, 'Who then can be saved?' Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.'"
